There are people who blindly believe that apple products can’t be hacked. A recent finding has shown they were wrong.

The iphone OS even with the latest patch (as of March 2010), has a security hole. A big one. A user can visit a website and the script on the site can download the SMS database on the iphone including deleted text messages within 20 seconds. This is pretty major. This opens up possibilities for many hackers and can compromise the security of sensitive information on your phone.

Like we always say, at Merchant Safe, Never save any important financial information or SSN or personal information on a smart phone, or on a public computer, or on any computer that is not behind a hardware firewall.
